I am so ready for fall. This summer has been brutal as both Jonathon and I work from home, and we don’t have AC!! To say it’s been an adjustment is an understatement, but we’ve both survived. We head to coffee shops when we can, but with client calls that becomes tougher.
However, FALL IS ALMOST HERE! I’m really looking forward to the cool, crisp air; wearing jeans, sweaters and scarves; and Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Yes, I did buy an iced PSL at Starbucks this weekend, but only because I knew the special password (it was Pumpkin, in case you were wondering). It was delicious and a sign of things to come:
I’ve already noticed that what I’m pinning to my Pinterest boards are tending more towards the fall fashion with more sweaters, scarves and long sleeves.
This pretty much sums up my boards right now:
One thing I’ve never been very good at is replacing my glasses and getting new ones each year. I often only buy them when absolutely necessary, and wear them as little as possible. With working from home, and having early morning calls because my clients are on the East Coast, or in Europe, means that I wear my glass now more than ever.
Warby Parker recently contacted me to let me know about their new Fall Collection of new glasses, colors and styles. I have to admit, as soon as I saw these new glasses, I wanted to try them all on! Here’s an example of some of their new colors:
I’m digging all of the rich reds, golden browns, cool greys, and other harvest hues. Their new two-toned glasses are manufactured differently than their old as they now have a contrast layer of acetate laminated over a layer of thicker acetate.
This new Fall Collection is available now (seriously, starting today!), and you can get them all via Warby Parker’s Home Try-On option. Here’s the two I’m most excited to try on (and will share how they look on me in a few weeks with you all!):
Simone – Blue Coral:
Here’s the rest of their Fall Collection:
Plus, for each pair of purchased glasses, Warby Parker distributes a pair to someone in need through their non-profit partners. So not only will I be able to see again, but I’ll be helping others in need to fix their vision and be able to see on a daily basis. All in all, it sounds like a win to me!
So, which other glasses should I add to my Home Try-On? I’ve got room for 5 total and need your help in picking!
**Disclaimer: I was not compensated for this post, just given information allowing me to share the new collection with you. I have not used Warby Parker for my glasses, however I will be ordering some of their glasses as the At Home Try-On in the next month and may buy some glasses for myself!**
