Yeah, I know, I skipped Stitch Fix box number 7! I promise I took photos and will post them shortly, but I received the box the day before our ‘We got Married’ celebration party (only a year and a half later) and then I left town for SXSW, a work conference in DC, and a small vacation.
It’s been a busy March (and now it is April!!!), and whoever said “In like a Lion, out like a Lamb” was mistaken! My month just got busier and busier. I’ll be posting many more blog posts about my adventures throughout March, but first, let’s find out what’s in my Stitch Fix box!
So here is what I got:
Yumi Jodie Chambray Dot Print Fit and Flare Dress
Tart Brigitte Striped Raglan Thermal Top
Under Skies Abbie Pintuck Button-Back Blouse
Toss Vita Boat Neck Stripe Knit Shirt
Fate Garvey Tribal Print Open Front Cardigan
What I am returning:
Under Skies Abbie Pintuck Button-Back Blouse
Such a fun color! But just not flattering on my type of body. I hate how it looks from the side just hanging from my boob like that.
Toss Vita Boat Neck Stripe Knit Shirt
Stripes are definitely in style right now, but this shirt just did not fit me right.
Fate Garvey Tribal Print Open Front Cardigan
I normally wouldn’t think of myself as a tribal print kinda gal, but I actually kind of liked this cardigan, especially the design and weight of the sweater. The colors didn’t even bother me very much even though I normally wouldn’t pick them for my clothes.
My issue was with the price and how this cardigan was put together. This seam in particular:
Because of that, I had to return it.
My Faves, aka what I am keeping:
Yumi Jodie Chambray Dot Print Fit and Flare Dress
This was perfect for a nice dinner out with friends and for Easter brunch with my family. Plus, if you’ve seen my Pinterest board recently, you know I’m obsessed with polka dots! Love this dress and while it is similar to the Willhinina Polka Dot Belted Skater Dress I got in my first Stitch Fix box but this one is definitely geared more toward spring with the light weight fabric and pale grey color.
Cannot make up my mind:
Tart Brigitte Striped Raglan Thermal Top
I *LOVE* the color of this top! I also don’t hate the fit, despite it being a baggier fit. It’s nice and cozy and the big neck makes it fun and perfect to lounge around the house in. I’m torn about this one for 2 reasons. First, winter is almost over! When am I going to wear this shirt? Our apartment doesn’t have AC, and it is already getting hot. Secondly, the stitching is a bit on the yellow side, which clashes with the turquoise and white of the shirt.
In the end, I decided to return this top as well.
Sign up now to receive your very own Stitch Fix! I can’t wait to get my next one later this week!

Great fix! Love the green top with the back accents.

Taking picks of each stitch fix is a cool idea. I have enjoyed Stitch Fix.
My first Stich fix I kept two of the items and shirt and earrings. Love them and wear them both often. I had to return all of my last 2 Stitch fixes because one there was nothing I liked and two it was too pricey. My 4th stitch fix will be in the mail in October. I do enjoy the surprise every 3 months. I love trying new things on that someone else picked for me. I feel spoiled even if I don’t choose anything in the box.
Have fun
