Stitch Fix Box Number Three

By Wednesday, December 4, 2013 2 Permalink 0

I’ve been asked a few times if I am still getting my Stitch Fix boxes, and the answer is yes! Below are the items from my third box that arrived in October (oops, a little late on the blogging), but looks like with every box I receive, the items are getting better. Not only do they seem a bit more tailored to my style, but the fit is getting better as well. Stitch Fix takes my feedback seriously!

So here is what I got:

Collective Concepts Whistler Pleat and Lace Panel Tank
Daniel Rainn Ashlee Floral Print Swiss Dot Blouse
41Hawthorn Brentwood Jersey Stripe Tiered Top
41Hawthorn Moni Stud Detailed 34 Sleeve Blouse
Pink Martini Felix Zig Zag Drape Front-Tie Waist Cardigan

What I am returning:

Collective Concepts Whistler Pleat and Lace Panel Tank

This tank top wasn’t bad, it was even a little cute, but these pictures make it look really plain. There was some pleating and lace in the front, but it blended in so much that it just ended up looking like the tank tops I’ve bought on sale from Target for $5. No offense to the tank top, just not worth the price when the detail blended in so much.

Daniel Rainn Ashlee Floral Print Swiss Dot Blouse

Floral is just not my jam. I can’t recall a single thing I have worn in the last decade that could be described as floral. Plus, this blouse just did not fit around my chest.

My Faves, aka what I am keeping:

41Hawthorn Brentwood Jersey Stripe Tiered Top

Sometimes I wish you could feel through the internet, and this is one of those times. This shirt is just so silky and smooth, it feels great to wear. I love the zig zag pattern and while it fit like a glove, it wasn’t tight to the point I thought it looked bad. This one is a keeper!

Cannot make up my mind:

Since this post is late, I did already make up my mind, but these were the pieces I was uncertain about.

41Hawthorn Moni Stud Detailed 34 Sleeve Blouse

I thought long and hard about if I would wear this emerald shirt, but in the end it was just a bit too baggy for me and the material was a bit scratchy and uncomfortable which didn’t seem worth the cost of the shirt.

Pink Martini Felix Zig Zag Drape Front-Tie Waist Cardigan

Cardigans are my favorite. I have a whole closet to prove it. I loved the black and white and the fit was pretty good, but in the end I wasn’t sold on the tie and the way it draped around my neck just felt a little off (that last pic took me awhile to get the neck to lie how I wanted it to).

What do you think? How’d I do?

I bet it looks super cute on you Ali! I’m just not sold on the floral prints, at least not yet. :)
