After I took so long trying on and returning my last Stitch Fix box, I took a little hiatus since I knew that the Summer would be crazy for me. I just got my latest box, number 9 in fact, and I was excited to try everything on! Jonathon is in a wedding soon and I’m also traveling to some onsite client meetings, so I was hoping to find stuff to wear to both of these events.

Under Skies Dover Sheer Back Knit Top
I’m not sure this top had a chance in the 94+ degree weather we’ve been having. While airy, I just couldn’t imagine wearing it anytime soon. Damn this 3rd story apartment! Also, it was a bit wide, and as I’ve said before, I am not a fan of those kinds of shirts.

Also, ignore the bikes in the background. Jonathon and I went biking on the 4th and lost our lock so the bikes now live in my office/dining room area.

Fun2Fun Portland Stripe & Daisey Print Henley Tunic
This shirt reminded me of a bumble bee, and not sure that’s what I want to look like. It was pretty cute on, but again, a bit on the wide side. Just not sure the black,white and yellow combination is my style.

So cute and can go with so many of my current clothes, like the Blazer I got from my second Stitch Fix box! Plus, I love how sparkly it is!

I also ended up wearing it out to dinner with Jonathon last night – great way to dress up a plain, black tank top!

Cannot Make Up My Mind

41Hawthorn Filber 3/4 Sleeve Popover Blouse
I liked the idea of this blouse, but it was a bit see-thru. Obviously I needed an under shirt, but there was something else about it I just didn’t like. Then I realized it was the pockets! They were wide and made my breasts look wonky. I also wasn’t in love with the sleeves. They bunched up on their own and wouldn’t go well under a jacket. Sorry Stitch Fix, maybe next time.

Mystree Brad Striped Jersey Maxi Dress
This thing fit like a glove! As you can see, the first few pics are with a lace bra, that you can see through the dress (along with my belly button ring). I changed my bra, but the material is still a bit thin and see thru. Lastly the black stripe was ill positioned and I felt it made my hips look much wider than my waist (which they are, but don’t need to accentuate it). This is definitely a dress that you can NOT gain weight and still wear!

All in all I ended up returning everything but the necklace. What do you think – should I have kept something else? Have you tried Stitch Fix yet? Let me know in the comments below!
