This Friday, Bop Skizzum and friends are going to be crowning the King and Queen of Summer.

They will be picking 3 potential Kings and 5 Queens to compete for the title of King and Queen of Summer. I was going to apply, and then I chickened out (say what you want…I just couldn’t bring myself to do it). I am just not a person that likes being the center of attention! Oh well, I tried. Kinda. I mean I filled out the application with LeVar, but couldn’t get myself to submit it. Maybe if they do it again next year I will go for it.

Besides getting to watch 6 people compete for the crowns, there will be live performances by some of my favorite local bands! Mr. Right, Churchill, My Body Sings Electric and Bop Skizzum will all be taking the stage on Friday, July 15th at the Gothic.

This is most definitely a must-see show.
