Now that FoCoMX is over, I am already planning out the rest of my month with as many concerts as I can. There are 2 festivals that are coming up in April that have great lineups and are both for good causes.
The first is Mountain of Arms, which will be a big festival that takes place at City Hall in Denver and features 25+ bands, playing 3 stages on April 23rd. Best part? Tickets are only $12 AND all proceeds benefit Japan.
Performances include (links all go to their Facebook fan pages):
Petals of Spain
My Body Sings Electric
The Larva Ink
Fresh Breath Committee
Vices I Admire
The second is Tellerpalooza which benefits local school Teller Elementary, and is only $18. The event takes place April 30th at the Mercury Cafe. My friends Aimee and Bryan Giese help organize this event every year and I am excited that I am able to attend this 8th annual event.
Performances include (links to MySpace):
Like I said, I am attending both of these, so leave me a comment if you want to join!
