Civil Twilight w/ Churchill at The Bluebird 4/25
In case you didn't already know, one of our favorite local Denver bands, Churchill, will be playing a show tonight at The Bluebird with Civil Twilight. Churchill is also getting ready to play a couple of shows with well-known Denver locals The Fray on the 29th at The Palladium Ballroom and 30th at Stubbs Barbeque in Texas, which is already sold out. Started in 2004, the ninth annual Tellerpalooza is nearing! Tellerpalooza is one of Denver's biggest elementary school fundraisers, if you were wondering what Teller was and why this is such a palooza, we're here to explain it to you. Festival season is upon us, and we can't wait! The first we are attending this year is FoCoMX, which takes place in Fort Collins on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14. Popcult Covers Arcade Fire’s “Keep The Car Running”
Remember when I told you months ago that the band to look out for was Popcult? Well, here I am again this time with a flawless cover they did of Arcade Fire's "Keep The Car Running". I've definitely listened to this at least 7 times since I first started listening to it, something about their toned down MuteMath kind of sound really makes me fall in love with them. I expect these guys to be huge in no more than three years, without a doubt. Amazing, isn't it?
Upcoming CD Release: Carbon Choir
I first fell in love with Carbon Choir months ago, their crystal-clear sound, soothing guitar chords and warm tones were something that really stuck to me. This band has the kind of effect where you can blast their music on your stereo while driving in your car to absolutely nowhere, just taking in the sun and thinking about life.
